Wonderful resources that can't wait until

I can think of something wonderful to say. This is unbelievable - a searchable online Charles Darwin complete with pictures. Sometimes, I am completely blown away by the wonderful resources on the internet. Usually, I am astounded by the junk, but today, I bow to the people who worked so hard to make an almost complete works of Darwin available online for free!!

Hi! Yes, the internet and all it holds is nothing short of miraculous to those of us who can remember the times when it did not exist.

it is always encouraging to find the good when we are so often bombarded by the "bad". what a wonderful resource!!

so many times I have stopped and wondered what I used to do when I had a question before there was internet.

pouI do remember the beginnings of the internet. I had no idea that there would be such a quick and complete evolution of a computer tool. What was once "not to be trusted" and frivolous is now required in most businesses.

I know I am aging myself, but I once took a programming course in college in which I had to punch cards. The next semester the card punch system was gone and there was a PC lab - primitive by today's standards but a huge jump from key cards and a main frame.

I love the easy access to information but never want to give up my books and a good research library. I just like to smell and touch the books. Weird, but true.
