Just as I begin shoveling out my house, I see that a heat advisory has been issued. The temperature and humidity will combine to make temperatures an unbearable 105° to 110° Fahrenheit. I'm sure not much will be done with those temperatures.
It's August. What did I expect?!
The shade. I can make the shade. Shade is cooling.

About Me

- I am a homeschooling mother who lives on a farm in Central Mississippi with a man (husband of 21 years), a boy(11), a girl(8), a horse, 9 cats, and a yellow dog. You might want to make some lemonade or iced tea, too. Put a few beers in the fridge (and/or tonic) so you are prepared later. that sort of thing. Cold salad for supper...
Baby powder with cornstarch works wonders. Keep some ice water handy.
